April 2008 - New Lakie puppies in town
Snow Roses Sparkling Ruby, our red grizzle Lakie, was mated to High Flyer's Luca (black) .
 On 22th of April 2008 her second litter was born - a male and a female, both black. Ruby is the perfect mother as we hoped.

First Assindias litter born on 24/06/2005
Snow Roses Tessa, our red Lakie, is dam of our first litter (Sire: Rayfos Bear Berry
 at Eskwyre). She proved to be a great mother, having a lot of patience with her two little cuties
named Assindias Abracadabra and Assindias Ancient Melody.
At our local terrier club in Dorsten
 Krissy doesn't attend the ring class for some months, so we had time to watch the other trainees. Krissy's brother Ritchie, a real Lakie flirt, runs there since 2 years in agility classes!
It was fascinating watching him move through the obstacle course... Krissy was thrilled as well. And here you can look at more pictures... (with friendly permission of the owner!)

Events & Shows
 Welthundeausstellung in Dortmund - of course we had to be there! Thursday, 29.05.2003, Mr Paolo Dondina, Italy, jugded Lakeland Terriers. There were over 30 Top Lakies from all over Europe. The Winners are on www.welthundeausstellung.de. On the picture are (left side) Scartop Intrepid bred and handled by Bert Hunt, Danmark, and (right side) Eve von der Nachtseide bred and handled by Petra Delventhal, Germany. Congratulations!

Crufts 2003

Organized by our terrier club in Dorsten it was possible for Birgit to go to Crufts Dog Show 2003 (6. to 9. March 2003), the famious dog show in Birmingham / GB. It was a special event. I'm grateful to meet Nicky Patterson of Lakeland Terrier Society and the Lakie friends of Midland Lakeland Terrier Club. If Krissy had been with me, it would be of course the highlight of the year!
On the picture is the winner dog CH Wyndam Aces High bred and owned by Valerie & the late Herbert Atkinson, handled by Valerie Atkinson.
